Answer Construction removed the existing front porch roof and framed a Gable roof with 18-inch overhangs and continued the 18-inch overhangs around the entire house besides the back where we just added 2x6 to extend fascia board away from house so homeowner can build a back deck roof. Installed all new aluminum Fascia with Vented soffit. Some exterior lighting with a new electric ventilation fan on roof. Also installed ridge vent for superior ventilation creating air flow with the new vented soffits. Held out soffit from house 1 inch so homeowner could install siding request from them also framed roof over bay window to then frame out 2 triangle gable windows for the new front framed gable roof. We were not sure of size of window so we framed it to a size that could easily be adjusted for window installer to install with ease. Removed existing roof to replace with Owens Corning Duration shingles to really make the brickwork pop. The color combination was a real winner especially with the Brown Aluminum work and new gutters. The look of this property completely changed looks absolutely stunning.
